Course Description

This course builds on the skills and concepts taught in Word 2010: Intermediate. Students will perform mail merges, create and use forms, and create master documents that include a table of contents, a table of figures, footnotes, endnotes, an index, bookmarks, cross-references, and Web frames. They will also create macros, customize the ribbon and Quick Access toolbar, and work with XML documents.

Prerequisites

Students should be comfortable with basic navigation tasks of the Windows environment and have a good understanding of Microsoft Word. Students will have ideally attended Microsoft Word 2010: Intermediate.

Audience

This course is designed for students who wish to learn the advanced operations of the Word 2010 program to perform their day-to-day responsibilities and to understand what advantages using this program can bring to their business processes.
