Course Description

This hands-on course prepares you for implementing a Cisco collaboration solution in a multisite environment. Focusing on Cisco Unified Communications Manager v10.x, Cisco VCS-C, and Cisco Expressway series, you will implement voice and video in a multisite network. You will learn the concepts and configuration elements of globalized call routing, URI dialing and call routing, Global Dial Plan Replication (GDPR) based on Cisco Inter-cluster Lookup Service (ILS), Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST), mobility features, and Call Admission Control (CAC). In consideration of mobile users connected to the public Internet, as well as Cisco TelePresence devices, you will also learn the concepts and configuration elements of Cisco VCS and its integration with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Mobile Remote Access (MRA) on Cisco Expressway Series. We've extended the hours of this course from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day to give you the most complete training experience possible and to ensure you have time to absorb and fully grasp the in-depth content that will be covered. For self-paced learning, you will have access to this course for 12 months from the purchase date.

Prerequisites

  • Active CCNP Voice or CCNP Collaboration
  • One to three years of active Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager experience
  • Experience with SIP, H.323, and MGCP protocols
  • Basic understanding of video concepts inside unified communications
